首先，我想对每一位陪伴我走过职业生涯的人表达我的衷心感谢。你们的支持和鼓励，让我成为了我今天的样子。
今天，我站在这里，宣布我将从职业篮球舞台上退下来。这对我来说是一个艰难的决定，但是我深信这是正确的时机。
过去的几个赛季对于我和洛杉矶湖人队来说都是充满挑战的。我们在西部总决赛中被掘金横扫，这是一个令人失望的结果。但是，失败并不是我退役的唯一原因。现在我已经38岁了，身体状态和竞技能力都开始出现变化。我深知，退役是不可避免的，它是职业生涯自然的延续。

Ladies and gentlemen,
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of my journey. Your support and encouragement have shaped me into the person I am today.
Today, I stand before you to announce my retirement from professional basketball. It has been a difficult decision for me, but I firmly believe that the time is right.
The past few seasons have been filled with challenges for both myself and the Los Angeles Lakers. Being swept by Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals was a disappointing outcome. However, failure is not the sole reason for my retirement. At the age of 38, I am aware that my physical condition and athletic abilities are changing. I understand that retirement is a natural progression in my career.
As a basketball player, I have always strived for excellence. I have pushed myself beyond limits to bring honor to my team and fans. Countless hours have been spent in training, competing, and conditioning. Every time I stepped on the court, I gave it my all, striving to deliver my best performance. The cheers of the fans and the joy of victories have been the fuel that kept me going.
I deeply love the game of basketball. It has been an integral part of my life, teaching me invaluable lessons and values. It is not just about the matches and victories; it symbolizes teamwork, perseverance, and the pursuit of greatness. I will cherish this journey and carry it with me into the future.
At this moment, I want to give a special thanks to my family. You have been the strongest support system behind me. In times of success, you have been there, and in times of failure, you have provided endless encouragement and love. Without you, I could not have become the person I am today.
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to all the fans who have supported me throughout my career. You have been the driving force behind my persistence. Your passion and support have been an endless source of motivation. Regardless of where I am, I can feel your presence and love. I will forever cherish the moments we have shared.
Retirement does not mean that I will leave the basketball world. I will continue to contribute to the sport in different ways. I believe that my experience and knowledge can be passed on to the younger generation, inspiring them to pursue their dreams. I will work alongside young players, helping them grow and succeed.
Retirement is also a new beginning. I will pursue other passions and interests. I plan to dedicate myself to philanthropic endeavors, using my influence and resources to make a positive impact on communities and those in need. I will strive to be a positive role model, encouraging people to chase their dreams and make a difference in society.
My basketball career may have come to an end, but my spirit and determination will always be present. I will approach new challenges in life with the same mindset and drive for excellence. Basketball is a part of who I am, and I will continue to face the future with a positive and steadfast attitude.
Once again, thank you all for your support and love. My career has been one of the most precious treasures in my life. Whether on or off the court, I will continue to strive to be a better person. Thank you all!
